Caching

Every answer carries Cache-Control: public, max-age=60 (history up to five minutes, rankings ten) and an ETag. Within that time, reuse the answer: the numbers behind it change every few minutes at most.

After it, send the ETag back as If-None-Match. If nothing changed you get 304 Not Modified with no body:
